Is Karate Useful

Karate provides a full-body workout, and useful training.
You work your body out making it stronger by excercising, stretching and then doing basic karate techniques (depending on the school you go to).
While working your body, you also learn how to defend yourself in unfortunate situations.

Karate is useless because in a gigh were you would need to use it the assailant will have a weapon and when you use your fancy kicks it will just annoy him and he will kill you. Listen to his demands or learn Krav Maga.

Krav Maga is a form of Karate, which uses basic techniques by every karate system. Each is useful, but in a different way. Karate can overcome a hostile situation if that's the case, whether you use an overkill move or a move to move the attacker away.

(Obviously, Liam does not know what Karate is.)
